Duties & Responsibilities :   

This is hourly paid work performing maintenance and repair duties. Positions in this job are established for less than 9 months or are scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits if the position status is temporary (i.e., SCOA 513). Positions in this job are established for greater than 9 months and scheduled for greater than 30 hours per week if the position status is permanent labor (i.e., SCOA 512). Normally permanent labor positions are eligible for Health Insurance benefits.



ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

This position includes the daily housekeeping and cleaning of a secure facility. It requires general maintenance and janitorial duties inside and outside. Required to respond to minor maintenance requests, repairing, installing, painting, dry walling, pressure washing, and housekeeping. Skilled in using electrical equipment such as drills, machines, pallet jacks, etc. Provides janitorial services including professional cleaning & sanitizing. May also maintain grounds. Cleaning floors to include mopping, stripping, and buffing. Requires carrying or moving heavy equipment and/or furniture. May be required to work some weekends.

NOTE:



This is a twenty-nine (29) hours per week position and is not eligible for benefits.
  

Minimum Qualifications :   
Any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
