Duties & Responsibilities :   
Prepares, heats and finishes cooking food items and serves customers, client and/or employees. May receive and disburse money in a food service establishment. Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. Unpacks and stores supplies, raw and prepared food products. Takes customers` orders and serves customers. Stores food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Replenishes supplies of food, condiments, and equipment at steam tables and service bars. Receives payment for food items. Prepares foods. Portions food or places it directly on plates for service to facility residents, employees or patrons and packages takeout foods. Observes safety, sanitation and health rules and standards. Conducts or assists with food supply requisitions and sanitation and maintenance inspections. Cleans, peels, slices and trims foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances. Cleans work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.

Minimum Qualifications :   
High School diploma or GED.
