Duties & Responsibilities :   
Performs complex processing transactions or other technical-level duties for a function or program area. Researches and resolves related issues, and provides documentation, reporting and customer support. Perform HR and procurement functions and complete requisitions, purchase orders, voucher payments and personnel actions.

Business Analyst, skilled in handling trend analysis, statistical and operational data collection, documentation, and record keeping. Skills in capturing, storing, manipulation, analyzing and managing all types of data will be needed. Analyst will create new queries, reports and monitoring tools to trouble shoot issues. Analyst may be required to travel throughout the state to conduct site visits as requested. Responsibilities will include the preparation of reports and documents, implementing and maintaining the general office filing systems, collating and disseminating inter-departmental communication from various sources, maintaining databases, responding to requests and inquiries, and serving as a contact to assist with coordinating the flow of information externally and internally.

This position will be heavily involved in the day to day operations of our facilities throughout the state and will provide guidance and assistance as it relates to HR, Procurement, budget and inventory management.

Notes:

1. There are two (2) positions available; position numbers 190645 and 93055.

Minimum Qualifications :   
Bachelor`s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of experience related to area of assignment. Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience, and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year over year basis.   

Preferred Qualifications :   

Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess three or more of the following:


1. Experience with PeopleSoft HR and Financials.

2. Experience in Human Resources Functions such as completing Personnel Actions, requesting criminal background clearances, and requests for rehires, etc.

3. Experience in Procurement Functions (Complete requisitions, purchase orders and voucher payments).

4. Certified as a Georgia Certified Purchasing Associate (GCPA).

5. Experience in Property and Asset Management.
