Duties & Responsibilities :   
Under general supervision and in a self-directed work team environment, the CCH (Computerized Criminal History) Specialist will perform work of moderate difficulty in conducting criminal background investigations based on requests received from state-run or privatized facilities and general contractors. Certification as a Full Terminal Operator by the Georgia Crime Information Center is necessary to perform this job.
  

Minimum Qualifications :   
High school diploma or GED AND Two years of related experience.   

Preferred Qualifications :   
Preference will be given to applicants who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess two (2) or more of the following:

1. An Associate`s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.

2. Currently certified as a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) Terminal Operator.

3. Two (2) or more years of experience with processing and/or reviewing employment background information.

4. Two (2) or more years of experience working in a criminal justice agency processing Criminal History Record Information(CHRI)

5. Five (5) or more years of experience as Georgia Information Center Terminal Agency Coordinator to include experience conducting an agency GCIC Audit.
